City of Annona Public Notice: Water System Update The City of Annona is aware of recent concerns raised regarding our water system and our long-standing contract with Red River County Water Supply Corporation. We want our citizens to hear this directly from us: Your city leadership is actively working to protect Annona’s water system, ensure safe and reliable service, and address infrastructure issues that existed long before current administration. Recent claims made by outside entities are being carefully reviewed. At this time, no verified data has been provided showing that water delivered by the City of Annona fails to meet required standards at the point of delivery. The City is continuing to make necessary repairs, improvements, and corrections to strengthen both our water and wastewater systems. We are committed to full transparency, accountability, and compliance with all state requirements. We will not allow fear or unsupported claims to undermine the progress being made or the future of our community.
